First Broncos Game

Yesterday we went to our first Broncos game! We were invited by friends from church and I have been looking forward to it for the past couple weeks.

Awesome time and the Bronco's even won! Thanks so much Sarah and Randy for the invite!

Hi there! It looks like you are transitioning well to Colorado. I think we are getting more adjusted too. :) I'm jealous that you got to go to a Broncos game. We've become big fans.

About Me

In November 2010, just two months after getting married in Puerto Vallarta, my husband and I felt a prompting from God to look into moving to the suburbs of Denver, CO. So the next 16 months we researched different Colorado suburbs, listed (and sold!) our condo in Chicago, moved to a temporary (3 month) condo and were finally ready for our big move! On March 30, 2012 my husband and I loaded up the truck, strapped in the cat and dog and made the journey out west to our new home in Colorado.

It's been almost three years since we've made the journey here. I've since been a special ed (severe needs) teacher and we've had a sweet, happy little boy named Lucas. We've also bought our first house together and are trying to figure out this suburban living with a family and a backyard!

Through this blog I hope to be able to share my thoughts and experiences here in Colorado while also being able to keep in touch with loved ones back in Chicago. We both believe that God has plans for us out here and are very excited to see what He has in mind. Welcome!
